1. The importer is the owner of the household effects and personal effects.

  2. Household effects are:-

    1. The goods which have been used for a period of not less than 3 months.

      The goods will not be disposed of within 3 months after date of importation into Malaysia.

  3. Example of items or goods belonging to owner:-

    1. crockery and cutlery
    2. furniture
    3. beddings / curtains
    4. pictures / wall paintings
    5. electrical kitchens and garden appliances such as kettle, lawn mover, TV, radio / DVD

    Items not categorized under Household effects:-

    1. Motorbike
    2. Car
    3. Powerboat
    4. Yatch
    5. Motor home / Caravan
